"Looking at the record books it's easy to
believe that something was going to go wrong because of our
poor record at The Dell and in some respects I am a little bit
superstitious about that."
Frank Lampard Jnr
"What the FA are saying effectively is that it's
alright to call the ref a **** and gob in his boat, but woe
betide you if use a gesture that has little meaning to all but
the most easily offended these days."
Graeme Howlett
"Two footy supporters living next to me support Leicester
and Villa. My theory is that if Leicester beat Villa and we
beat Leicester, we’re the best and I have delighted in
showing the Leicester goals over and over and over
again."

"Four years ago you'd wait all season for a moment of jaw
dropping magic; today the likes of Di Canio, Cole and Sinclair
churn them out every time they play. Pure moments of magic
that linger longer than any defeat."
Chris

"I think like everyone who supports the Hammers I was in
deep depression for the rest of the week. I haven't felt so
crushed since Miss Right decided she was Miss Right, but
perhaps for someone else. "

"'Let the rhythm start to play, dance with
me, make me sway' the sound of teenage pop
pervades the still autumnal night and reinforces
my theory of the parallels between dance and
football."
Alison Leahy
"And then, to cap it all our East London
Boys put the Totts to the sword and
showed them up as the Bleedin' Liabilities
they really are. Anyone who was there knows how Bloody
Lovely it was."

"Ever
since he discovered his grandmother was a bookie's
runner, Harry Redknapp has enjoyed a gamble.
Horses, greyhounds, two flies on a wall. You name
it, Harry will have a punt."

Let the Good Times Roll

Superb return to form by the lads
recently.
Wanchope supplying the ammunition for
the games against Newcastle and Derby.
The Coventry game was an excellent team
performance and a good confidence booster. The three-pronged attack worked wonders and the
defence was solid.
Great goal by Michael Carrick,
certainly another with a very big future. Also Margas’ first goal was
good to see and even better the smile
on his face….surely we’ve seen the end of Ruddock!
Pure class once again as always from
Paulo DiCanio.
A quick note: Arsenal fans can’t make up their own
stuff, so they’ve been singing ‘……. Silvinho’ to Paulo’s
Italian tune! Cheeky Beggars!
Looking forward to the Boro’ game.
Be nice to add a few more to our goal
difference. GD could be v.important come the end of the season. Sounds like Foe will be back in
the starting line-up and Carrick onto the bench. It’d be good to see Lampard score, lose this
barren spell and get back to his best.
Isn’t it ironic how quick the media
are to put us down and count us out of the race for a decent finish. Harry gives the ‘we haven’t
given up yet’ speech. Sure enough here we are looking to a good finish beating last seasons 57pts
and get the Intertoto Cup place.
I’m sure the media will be all over
us if we get in again after winning (in style over Metz) last year.
Coverage etc. as if they knew we would
do it all along.
